Cancellations and Refunds

Delegates whose paper is rejected will receive a full refund.

Delegates who cancel their registration more than 60 days before the start of the meeting and do not yet have a paper accepted for presentation at the conference will receive a complete refund minus €100 administration charge.

Fees remain payable in full if the cancellation is received less than 60 days before the conference or if the paper has been formally accepted.

We strongly advise that if you need a visa to attend this conference you apply as early as possible in order to avoid disappointment. Please notice that we will endeavour to assist you in obtaining a visa but it remains your responsibility to do so and the decision to issue one rests solely with the appropriate authorities.

The health and safety of delegates is of paramount importance to WIT and if it takes the decision to postpone or change the format of a conference to an online event due to a pandemic or for any similar reason, delegates will be permitted to cancel their registration within the 14 days following our communication of the change. In these circumstances, WIT will refund in full the registration fee paid but it will not accept liability for any other costs that delegates may have incurred such as hotel or travel expenses, etc. WIT will always endeavour to give delegates at least 3 months’ notice of any proposed change of date or format but it cannot guarantee that this will be possible on every occasion.

If WIT has to cancel the event, our liability is limited to a full refund of the registration fees only. We will not be liable for any other costs associated with the cancellation of the event (such as hotel and travel costs).
