Dr. Popov is in charge of the Environmental Fluid Mechanics Division. His Research Interests are linked to numerical modelling of various physical processes in the field of environmental research and protection and include: Risk assessment, Exposure assessment; Sustainable management of natural resources; (Hazardous) Waste management; Fluid flow and contaminant transport in the environment, Remediation studies; Multiphase flow; Air pollution, Heat transfer, etc.
