 Travelling By Air

Kos International Airport is served by flights from numerous international airports as well as many flights from Athens, ideal for international connections. Both Olympic Airlines and Aegean Airlines offer a comprehensive timetable of flights to Kos from Athens. Regular flights are also available from the nearby island of Rhodes which is well-served by a large number of European airlines.

Airlines presently serving Kos International Airport include; Air Berlin, Condor Airlines, ThomsonFly, Eurofly, TUIfly, Smart Wings, Monarch, Edelweiss Air, Transavia, LOT and Neos.

A number of hire car companies operate at Kos International Airport, including Alamo, Budget, Europcar and Hertz. From here, Kos town is approximately 25km journey on main roads. In addition, taxis are readily available and KTEL buses connect to Kos town and on to the Conference venue.

 Travelling By Ferry

Ferries from Pireaus, near Athens connect regularly with Kos and other services are available from larger Greek islands including Rhodes and Samos, and from Turkey. Hydrofoil services provide the quickest way of connecting to other Greek islands. The main harbour is located in Kos town, approximately 5km from the conference venue.

 Travelling On Kos

Kos’ main bus station can be found in Kos town. From here, KTEL suburban buses frequently travel to towns and villages across the island, as well as popular resorts and hotels. Taxis are readily available in Kos town with set prices for popular destinations, prices for other journeys should be agreed in advance.
