Bol - Travel Information

Bol is situated on the southern side of the island of Brac, located close to Split on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast. Travel to Split is convenient with a large number of flights to major international airports as well as good European travel connection by road, rail and coach. From Split, a catamaran service operates daily to Bol.

 Travelling By Air

Split airport is closest to the island of Brac, and bus and taxi services connect the airport with the city’s ferry ports for connections to the island. Alternatively, hire cars are available and can travel on the frequent ferry service between Split and Supetar. A large number of major airlines fly to Split with flights to many European and international airports.

From Split, Jadrolinija http://www.jadrolinija.hr/ operates a fast catamaran service direct to Bol daily, departing from Split in the late afternoon.

 Travelling By Road/Rail

Split has major bus and rail stations from which it is possible to connect to the port for crossings to the island of Brac. Eurolines coaches frequently arrive in Split from numerous European cities, and the rail station is well connected to the Croatian rail network and cities elsewhere in Europe.
