 Travel

Gran Canaria Airport (LPA) is the main airport serving Gran Canaria. The airport receives flights from over 40 European cities including major transport hubs for international flights such as London, Berlin and Madrid. The conference venue and accommodation are located only 35km from the airport.

The following airlines operate direct flights to Gran Canaria Airport:

  • Air Berlin: from Germany
  • Easyjet: from Germany, the UK
  • Ryanair: from Brussels, Portugal, Spain and the UK
  • Vueling Airlines: from Spain
  • Transportes Aereos de Cabo Verde: from Portugal
  • Binter Canarias: from Morocco, Portugal
  • Austrian Airlines: from Austria
  • Norwegian Air Shuttle: from Denmark, Norway and Sweden

 

From the Airport

  • Bus: A regular bus service (Number 66) operates every hour between the Airport and Faro de Maspalomas and will cost less than €6. The hotel is only a short walk from the Faro de Maspalomas bus station.
  • Taxi: Taxis are readily available from a signed taxi rank at the airport terminal and the trip to the hotel should cost around €45.
  • Hire Car: There are many car rentals available from Gran Canaria Airport including: Avis, Cicar, Europcar, Goldcar, Hertz and Top Car Auto Reisen. The journey to the hotel should take less than 45 minutes.

 

Road Travel

From the airport follow directions and head south on GC-1 (Autovía Las Palmas-Puerto Rico). Take exit 43 onto the GC-500. Follow the GC-500 towards Maspalomas until you reach a roundabout with the GC-510. Take the GC-510 south towards Maspalomas until it ends at a roundabout with Av del Oasis. Follow Av del Oasis until you reach the Seaside Palm Beach Hotel.
