 Accommodation & Conference Venue

LodgeWestautumnAshurst Lodge is the home of the Wessex Institute and is located in the New Forest, an outstanding National Park that borders the South Coast. An ideal venue for conferences, courses and seminars, Ashurst Lodge comprises a newly-built conference centre with an excellent standard of accommodation in surroundings which are equally appealing to those who enjoy walking, horse riding, cycling, sailing and fine landscapes.

 Accommodation - Lyndhurst Park Hotel

lyndpark1The Lyndhurst Park Hotel is conveniently located only two miles from the conference venue at Ashurst Lodge in the popular tourist village of Lyndhurst, in the centre of the New Forest. A short walking distance from the forest and from the centre of Lyndhurst which has a number of good restaurants and traditional pubs, the hotel is well-situated for enjoying many of the attractions of the New Forest National Park. Only ten minutes walk away is the New Forest Museum, and the New Forest Verderers Court, home of the forest wardens who are today responsible for the landscape and animals of this unspoilt area.

Special accommodation rates have been negotiated at this hotel on behalf of our delegates.  Accommodation booking forms can be found under the Additional Information section on the left of this page. Please note that reservations must be made as soon as possible to benefit from these special rates.

 Amenities

The Lyndhurst Park Hotel has a range of rooms, some with views of the hotel’s attractive landscaped gardens, and all of which are ensuite with televisions and WiFi internet access. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, sauna and tennis court. Guests have a choice of bars, lounges and restaurants which include the oak-paneled Tudor restaurant, the attractive Palm room with views of the landscaped gardens, and the contemporary Lounge Bar.

From Lyndhurst Park Hotel to the Conference Venue

A shuttle service will be provided by Wessex Institute to transport delegates from the Lyndhurst Park Hotel to the conference venue, leaving in the morning and returning after the afternoon sessions have finished.
